Week Two: Online Communities 23 Things Kansas: "Week Two: Online Communities"
I belong to Facebook and have for almost a year. I keep in touch with my friends from my teen years. After high school we all went in many different directions and now live miles apart. We grew up in a rural area and attended a small school; therefore, we were very close. We post pictures of our grand-children, our pets and anything else which might interest our friends. I also keep track of family and friends who live nearby.
I plan to keep using Facebook as I am currently using it, but, I will be using it for my library. I hope to become more familiar with other libraries in Kansas. We are in desperate need of a new library building and this may be helpful in locating resources.

Libraries are a wonderful resource. 18 years ago when I was starting this business I used the local Stockton Library extensively. It provided many of the resources I had been used to having available in the big corporate world. I wish you great success in finding additional funding for your project.
